Upcoming Alumni Sporting Events
Calling all Alumni Basketball players – do you wanna play? Then just show up! The Thanksgiving holiday is just not the same without the annual games of Alumni vs. players at the Mary Star High School gym.
- The girls face off on Wednesday, Nov. 23: JV at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7 p.m.
- The boys meet on Friday, Nov. 25 with three games: Freshmen at 4 p.m., JV at 5:30 p.m. and Varsity at 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!

Alumni Basketball games feature tight competition
The Girls Alumnae gave the current Stars quite a workout on Wednesday, November 24 and the Boys Alumni featured a buzzer-beating game winner on Friday, November 26. Please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to submit photos or stories from these events.
Mary Star recognizes 1960 storybook football team at Homecoming
This year's homecoming festivities included a special tribute to the 1960 Mary Star football team. The squad was featured in the book "Thin Ice on the Gridiron" which was written by their famous coach Nick Trani. Click here

- The girls basketball program hosted the alumni the night before Thanksgiving in the new campus gym. Coach Cynthia (Pereira) Atencio and some more recent grads gave a spirited effort for the alumni.
- The boys basketball program hosted the alumni the night after Thanksgiving in the new campus gym. Alumni from as far back as the 1990s came out to show their moves and help give the current Stars some friendly competition
from Alumni Basketball 2009.
Homecoming 2009 featured some great events including the pep rally, football games, post-game social, dance and fashion show. Alumni from as far back as the 1950s came out to support their Stars. Click here
